but we at SLW have decided to release a few of our models and the tank car shown below will be the first. Followed in a few weeks by the Baldwin VO1000 and the Sacramento Northern GE 650 class Steeple cab. The tank car is actually an Union Pacific o-50-6 class, but since it is nearly identical to the SP one we justed painted it for them instead. This release will is a Beta and being as such, we would like your input as to what needs to be changed. It will be available for download later this evening after I get it all packaged to my satisfaction.Regards, Erik Pierson Sacramento, Ca SP_MSTS Member http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SP_MSTSwww.sacramentolocomotiveworks.com Bringing 1940s Southern Pacific to the digital age.
Well after packaging, testing and finaly everything met my approval I uploaded it to the SLW site. Unfortunately I was distracted by the phone on one occasion, left the pic out of the folder and just found the error a few minutes ago. I will have that fixed tomorrow or if you all think it is no big deal I can leave it out. A few notes real quick on some issues that have come to my attention. First off I put way too much detail into this car, so I'll be making another version with less detail but also keeping the high detail version for the front and rear end of consists. Second I never got a chance to edit the .sd and .wag files for the bounding box and coupling. Also I need to fix some issues involving texture mapping. If anyone finds anymore problems please drop us a line so we can get 'em fixed hopefuly before the final textures are back from the paint shop.
