RE: Is there an engine hack . . .

This only worked when I used the Timesaver route. First choose an electrified line, then choose an electric loco, then go to the timesver route and hopefully an electric loco will be in the selection bin.Is there an engine hack – image 2In 1943 a series of allied experiments were undertaken to render a ship invisible to enemy radar, the results of these tests were never released to the public. The finale of these tests which ultimately caused the cancellation of the project was known as: THE PHILADEPHIA EXPERIMENT.Is there an engine hack – image 3 Is there an engine hack – image 4 Is there an engine hack – image 5 Is there an engine hack – image 6 Is there an engine hack – image 7 Is there an engine hack – image 8 Is there an engine hack – image 9 Is there an engine hack – image 10 Is there an engine hack – image 11

Back up the engine file before working on it.Got into the engine file and down in it where it says
Wagon ( filename )
Type ( Electric )Change the type:
Type ( Diesel )That's It. Run THAT electric engine on non-electric routes. It will still run properly on totaly electric routes too.Try it out.Ted

Or, open the route(s) in the Route Editor and "electrify" it by turning on the overhead wires, and positioning the wire at about 1000 meters. The route will then accept all electric locomotives, but the wire will not be seen.

RE: Is there an engine hack . . .

That works also, but as with the earlier suggestion, the panto won't go down on the Acela, and the other train I tried, the TGV, won't run without the panto up. Oh well.Mike
