If anyone's been following the locomotive tutorial, we're just finishing up on the cab and general upper textures. I hope to have the cab tutorial up this weekend (I didn't get as much time this week as I had hoped to write more). However, I did write a pretty big section on texturing the locomotive.Keep an eye out on my site (http://home.cogeco.ca/~v1perfan/index.html). I should have this posted sometime this weekend. For those who are working through the tutorial, please note that I changed some of the methods in my tutorial. They are all minor, but they do save the user time (thanks to those who pointed out quicker ways of doing things than what was in my tutorial). Here's where we are so far! Enjoy the pic! Comments and suggestions are welcome.Brian.
Is there som e way to print the tutorial, and have it come out right on the paper? every time I try to print a page, the line length is so long that the right end is cut off, by about 4 or 5 words. Thanks.
Hey,I will be converting it to PDF so that you can enjoy a hard copy of it. Actually, I might even do that this week. I'll convert the current sections to PDF. Give me a few days...Brian.
This is a great tutorial. I have been following this and making it up into a book as I want a change from route building and try my hand at making models. I had trouble printing it direct from the site but by downloading onto my computer,I could then print it off in landscape mode from the generated folders. I for one certainly appreciate the effort going into producing the tuorial and can well imagine the work involved. Thank you very much. Cheers
