This... Into these... I've added this... Inside ( PassengerCabinFile ( Inside.s ) PassengerCabinHeadPos ( -1.046 2.44 -6.39 ) RotationLimit ( 30 160 0 ) StartDirection ( 0 75 0 ) Sound ( "AbeLincObs.sms" ) ) to the wag file but all I get is see through observation cars. What am I screwing up?Frank Musick Lehigh & Atlantic Railway, Canal Navigation Company <www.KelticSylk.com>

Comparing your entry with that in the default oebarcar I'd say nothing there. That only leaves the alpha settings in your interior. Maybe the car and the interior view are cancelling each other. Just a thought.Mervyn
My 3d graphics gut instinct is telling me that the polygons are one-sided or only have the surface applied on one side. But I've never done an interior for a passenger car before, so maybe I'm just full of hot steam. - dispatcher618
Frank,Had the same problem with my caboose, two things.#1 If your exterior walls are alphnorm then it cuts a hole through the model, and any other object other than terrain. I know there is a solution in messing with alphnorm+ and alphnorm-, but after hours of messing with this, I gave up. Instead I changed the outside skin to TransNorm, this is a lot like AlphNorm, but there is no transperancy level, it either cuts a hole, or doesn't. Objects behind the hole are seen just fine, it worked great for me.#2 My understanding is that the interior reference in the wag file, is only for the passenger view. To see an interior in your passenger cars, it needs to be part of the same .s file as the outside. I may be wrong about this, but I believe that that is how it works.Frank
It's that simple? Yikes!Didn't even think of that. I'll try it tonight!Frank Musick Lehigh & Atlantic Railway, Canal Navigation Company <www.KelticSylk.com>
