Hi,I have recently been working on an F59PHI for MSTS, I am almost done, I've just got a couple of bugs to fix and a few details to add, but most of the 3D modelling is done and the textures are complete.I have included a couple of images, please send any comments/suggestions etc.

Josh, I can make arrangements with him to do a NCDOT Piedmont engine... I have an excellent picture of the engine in a model railroad catalog...By the way: Excellent engine! I was getting tired of the very old model (engines made back in late 2001 have not-so-good textures and not-so-good models, which of course is quite understandable since the people who did the textures back then didn't have the resources as we do now...------------------------------------------------------------I'll never let go of the railroad that inspired me to involved with trains, the Union Pacific!

RE: F59PHI

There is one already in the lib. I like the shape of yours better though. Can you post larger (800x600) shot closer so we can see more detail? Thanks

If anyone is interested, the new Trains magazine has a nice profile article about the F59PHI (as well as an interview with the designer of the Genesis, and the top 10 diesel locomotives of all time)There's even a cutaway look at the SD90MAC's prime mover...but yeah I'm not big on the F59 (though it's the decendant of my favorite engine) but I figured y'all might be interested.Blake Harris

RE: F59PHI

Nope, not as yet Dave. I did the bilevels a little while ago, and since discovering 1024x1024 textures, realized that they're not all that good! Once I'm done re-doing the GO stuff, and the TRE F59, I'll hopefully have enough of a grasp of reskinning to have the Metrolink equipment out quickly.Dan
