Hey Ben,nice work with all your aussie add-on's i love em, there in my aussie round house along with joseph spinella's aussie loco's. Just a question seeing you have mainly released victorian locomotive i was curious is there any chance of Queensland Loco's in the near future i.e BB18 1/4 (betty's as they were affectionately known), C17, PB15, DD17, QLD Beyer Garratt, A10, AC16 to name a few.Any way thank you for your magnificent victorian add on's, can't wait for your spirit of progress.Cheers,Rodman93

I think we should let the man do what he wants to do. Australian steam is almost like American steam but with a couple changes. LONG LIVE STEAM!!New LOGO in progress!

Julian (Fozzy The Bear)P.S. I'm looking forward to seeing that in the sim Ben!! sounds like a great project.Streamliner – image 11

RE: Streamliner........................................

Thank-you all for your support!Rodman93: I have finished reskinning a diesel in Queensland Rail colours if you're interested....did it for a good friend!!!Sorry I can't go back to the menu (typing a message of course!)
Whoever commented on a standard gauge carriage set - I'm doing the a set with the observation car..............if I get permission it will probabely be a reskin of the TA ese original carriages (probabely have to make my own though!!!). Aussie steam is more like British too - Take for instance my Y Class, it's designed by Kitson & Co.An ingame shot you say, well I'll see what I can do.Tulloch............ a bulldog hey........... not revealing anything about that........ wink, wink..LOL!!!The only disappointing thing is:
I only know of 1 colour photo in the world......... does anyone have one?To give some historical info..........there were 4 of these beasts made in Melbourne............. all were scrapped in the 50's.Hope that helps!Kind Regards
Ben Shields

Ok,That bulldog, I know something, but I'm not saying (I also like secrets). Now, you might like to get in contact with the A.R.H.S. for some photos, and I'm guessing that colour paints don't count. Well, thats it.Streamliner – image 18 Streamliner – image 19

RE: Streamliner........................................

Hi Ben,I'm happy to hear it. I obtained S class plans in Melbourne on my last trip there (I grew up in Melbourne but now live in Wagga) and was planning to build one with TSM. I have started work on a VR D3 and J to get my steam skills up, and was hoping to do an S once I was used to it, as I normally build only trams and interurbans (apart from a few West Coast Railway reskins done months ago). I've got some VR cars coming along, AW, BE, BPL and a Tait suburban set. Thanks for reducing my already large to-do list!I'm looking forward to the results, if it is as good as your other Aussie stuff, then the fans are in for a treat.Cheers,
Matt A

Hi Ben,Yeah, I'll second that. Screenshots would be great.I looked at the possibility of reskinning the TA cars, and I think it'd be better to do a set of originals, especially with the 'observvation' car, which is somewhat different from the TA one.. I'd be willing to give them a go, as I'll be doing at least one of them to have some proper WCR stock for R711 and the reskinned bulldog I've done. If you'd like me to have a go at TSM SoP cars, pelase feel free to e-mail me at msa_vianney@hotmail.com. Re rolling stock, I hope to have some VR wooden cars ready in a week or two...Cheers,
