Where could one get dimensions for creating rolling stock? I would like to try my hand at creating a box car or maybe an engine or something.Thanks.Joe Fortier at simerjoe@cox.net
The easiest source I found is the model magazines like Railroad Model Craftsman and Model Railroader. Quite often you can find dimensioned drawings of rolling stock, motive power and structures. Old copies can often be found at hobby shops that stock model railroad supplies.Stew
This is the site I've been looking for for a long time. It is an extreme wealth of information. I've been surfing the site now for almost 3 hours and have downloaded plans galore for modeling. For me it's like finding a huge stack of Playboys I've never seen before. Awesome site. Highly recommended for modelers that need dimensions. Has many passenger, freight, and truck designs. For those that use TSM, using backdrops would be easy with these drawings. Thanks for the web address! Kip The Priest River Railroad..."it's so fictional, it's almost real" PRRR Website
