To the Talented designers out there. Please tell me where does a person correct the following problem? Is it in the .eng file or .wag or ?? Please help. Q: When a certain loco is loaded in the "consist" editor(Diesel), I turn one of them around in the editor, before hooking the wagons. I now have one facing as it is intended, and another one facing the wagons (Train). Now loading this outfit into MSTS and driving the works, in any of the Routes supplied or added on, the "Front" Loco's bogies follows the tracks whilst the second one's bogies, turns the opposite way on any curve. If the second one is now again turned around to face the same way as the first ( Leading ) Loco, the bogies operate normal? Where does one correct this and how? Please help. Johan.
Hello Johan,This is a bug in MSTS and cannot be corrected. If you do a search in the archives you will see it has been discussed before. The only way to get around it is to make a second model with the vehicle facing the other way, so you don't have to Flip() it in the consist file.Cheers Clem
Clem, thanks for the Info. What a cockup Anyway, do you by any chance know what "sentence" do I have to type in order to search the archives? i.e. Bogies stiff...Bogies doesn't turn? Thanks a million, Johan.
