Now this is a pre-release of my latest project, there's still a lot of work to be done, but it runs great & the engine models look good at the mement (thou still not 100% complete)I'm not going to upload a non-finished train on the train-sim.com server so you have to get it from my new website at http://www.freewebs.com/rodimusmajor/nswmsts/index.html
click on the models wagon on the lower frame.I'll be in the US all next week, so any e-mails sent to me won't be ready till In return.See you's later.

RE: CityRail S-Set pre-release available

If that's a pre release of what's to come, then I am very impressed. I would have to say it's already better than any sydney suburban trains I've seen released so far.Just make sure the heaters in the cab work, they're bloody cold things in the morning. LOL. I drive 'em.Excellent work.CityRail S-Set pre-release available – image 6

RE: CityRail S-Set pre-release available

Well,I think that the V set is better, but both far out do the TANGARA.You said that you drive them, well I ride them to school and from school. But, they are lacking a cabview, and I've seen the cab before, it would be hell to model. The main reason is, they are SOO small! A TANGARA cab would be easier, been in there twice. But hey, the middle of summer at 8:00am, seen all the cab doors wide open, do you still want the heater to work in summer?

RE: CityRail S-Set pre-release available

Give me an airconditioner for the summer time. I don't know anything about modelling cabs but photos can be organised. I was going to get some photos organised for the V set creator but havn't had the chance yet.I'm getting some detailed drawings of the Tangara and will be making my own version with the same level of detail and quality as my NR and 81 Class loco's.I also have a contact to provide drawings of the 82 and 90 class which I plan to do.CityRail S-Set pre-release available – image 9

LAST EDITED ON Jul-27-02 AT 04:41 AM (EDT)

Well,If you have some photos, send them over and I'll see what I can do. I'm working on a cab for 4201 right now.Hmmm, nothing beats the open windows on a Tulloch built trailer in the summer (plus the doors at each end open).

RE: CityRail S-Set pre-release available

As of now I don't have any cab pictures handy but will organise some when I get back to work (in 5 weeks), just started holidays. I can build a tangara and will probably do both the T and G set. The only thing I can't do is make cabs, eng file performance corrections and sounds.CityRail S-Set pre-release available – image 16

RE: CityRail S-Set pre-release available

Yes, the TANGARA T set is in the library. But, I (you must note the I) think that a better version could be built. The picture on the nose is VERY good, but, it lacks in most other areas. The model isn't great, but at least someone tried. I must point out, that I have been told not to say 'BAD' things about the TANGARA, and hope that I haven't broken that rule. But, I'm all for another T set + a G set, I would use them over the current one, but the choice is up to you, and I think that the current TANGARA is good, but there is room for improvement.CityRail S-Set pre-release available – image 17 CityRail S-Set pre-release available – image 18
