Jul-19-01, 01:39 PM (EST) "3DS Max Samples Wanted" LAST EDITED ON Jul-19-01 AT 01:44 PM (EST)LAST EDITED ON Jul-19-01 AT 01:42 PM (EST)Hello,I am the developer of a low-cost (<$100), low-end 3D Modeling program called 3D Canvas Pro. It is capable of creating relatively complicated models, but certainly is not in the league of 3DS Max.I am in the midst of trying to create an export to the "s" format. Unfortunately the "s" format is undocumented so it is making things difficult. I have requested information from Kuju, but haven't received any. I have been successful in exporting simple models but there are a few things about the file format that I haven't been able to track down. To track these issues down I need to take simple models in 3ds format, translate them to "s" and see what the result is. Unfortunately I do not have 3DS MAX so I can't create these models myself. I am hoping that some kind soul will provide me with these simple models.Any simple models would be helpful, but the following would be the most useful:1) A white cube with one face painted red
2) A white cube with one face painted red, one blue and one green
3) A white cube with one face textured with a flat wrap
4) A white cube with one face textured with a spherical wrap
5) A white cube with one face textured with a cylindrical wrap
6) two white cubes - non hierarchical
7) two white cubes - hierarchical (one being the child of the other)
8) two white cubes - hierarchical with the child cube having a simple translational animation
9) two white cubes - hierarchical with the child cube having a simple rotational animation
10) two white cubes - hierarchical with both objects having translational and rotational animations. Also, as I understand it the materials must be named. I am not sure how this is done in Max. I would like to see the following if possible (Let me know if I am off track on this one):White=SolidHlfBrt
Red,Blue,Green=SolidNorm
Textured=SolidDrkShd Thank you,Richard Borsheim
