I'm 56 years old and remember the Cab Fordwards and Shasta Daylignts running through the North Sacramento Valley on the Shasta route. Needless to say I am a big Southern Pacific fan. I have MSTS and the Modern Techachapi Route. Looking fordward for when they release the Donner Summit and Kalamath Falls (Shasta) route combination.
Most important, When will the Cab Fordward be avaliable, from whom, and how much? Also is the GS Daylight 4-8-4 avaliable, from whom, how much? Keep up the good work.
Would like to see something in the Southern Pacific Mt 4-8-2 class, the 4-10-2 3 cylinders class, and the AC-9 2-8-8-4 std. cab class that ran the're final miles out as helpers where I use to work (Alturas,CA).

RE: CabFordward

Keep an eye on our website. We plan on doing not only the SP 4-10-2s and the Mt 4-8-2s but we also plan on doing the Sacramento Valley to Shasta line. Currently we are working on a local branch line of the SP Sacramento Division and steam power for it including a class C-9 consolidation and a class T-32 ten wheeler.DCForum Discussion Forum - CabFordward – image 1Bringing the steam locomotive into the digital age.

RE: CabFordward

Mikkox who posts on here is presently building a cab forward that is so superb. As to your how much question; It's freeware as far as I know. Finally your when question!... I wouldn't ask that too much if I were you. Peaople do get a bit upset by the question, when they provide all these add-ons for free. Understandably. Mikkox last said that it would be some time in the summer..... but there are no solid dates. So you'll just have to wait and see. Or build your own!Best Regards,
