From left to right...E-6 A&B #2801 and #2951 "The Southerner" in Southern Railway early Passenger livery...
E-7 A&B #66 and #66B "National Limited" in Baltimore and Ohio livery, thanks to Rick Lamp for the cars, they're great...
E-8 A&B #80 and #82B in Atchinson Topeka and Santa Fe livery, warbonnet red...
E-9 A&B #949 and #949B in Excursion fleet Armour yellow Union Pacific livery...Southern Railway :

Baltimore & Ohio :

Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe :

Union Pacific :

All models feature Cab interior, lighted Numberboards at night, grab details, 3D bogies and on the E8 and E9 rotating roof fans and 3D roof ventilators.E-6/7 A unit 6000 polys, B unit 4500 polys
E-8/9 A unit 7500 polys, B unit 6000 polysThe textures still need to be overworked a bit and then it's up to the tuning shop at NALW... (.eng file, lights, sounds, cab)And there will be a CBQ E-5 set as well...Enjoy the pics, and stay tuned !!!Jens-Chris----------

I've enjoyed your work on the P40 genesis series and other projects.By the way, how is the UP steam engine coming? Haven't seen any progress shots in awhile.Still dreaming of a C&O Allegehny steam engine if anyone would want to tackle it.Suggestion to reskinners when this comes out, as I lack the talent, time and tools required to do one myself:E-6 in SAL (Citrus scheme), ACL (Champion), SCL

Hi Jens-Chris,Excellent work, as always.
An E5 would be really great! I am tempted to skin a CB&Q E7, when they come out. That is, if you guys don't already have one in the works.

May-31-02, 03:52 AM (EDT) 15. "RE: NALW presents..... (15 pics)" The EA was the first of the E series, and differed from the later E's by having a faired in headlight (see below).B&O EA no 51, preserved at the B&O Railroad Museum.
Santa Fe EA no 7.
My votes for further colour schemes for your shovelnose E would be as follows.Rock Island E-6 no 630, pictured at an EMD Open House at LaGrange in 1972. This was one of the last shovelnoses in passenger service, and is now preserved in an earlier colour scheme.
Louisville & Nashville E-6 no 770, preserved at the Kentucky Railway Museum.
Atlantic Coast Lines E-3 no 501, preserved at the North Carolina Transportation Museum.
Santa Fe E-3 no 11.
And finally last, but not least, Southern Railway E-6 no 2800 in a later colour scheme to the one you've already done.Keep up the good work Jens-Chris. We always look forward to any of your new releases with great anticipation.Regards,Shovelnose

Hopefully someone will reskin one of those into Pennsylvania Railroad livery to go with the Broadway Limited cars that are available. Keep up the great work and I will patiently await the release of those E units as well as your Big Boy that you are making.
