May-09-02, 04:07 PM (EDT) "mip maps" Hi,Is it possible to change the mip map level in TSM? I'm finding it galling to have a blurry image on my models.I see there's a utility to change a .3ds file so it must be something hidden in the ascii file.I put up a couple of grabs:-
the coach especially looks as though it's been textured using the back end of an elephant - it uses 2 512 files across it's length.Any help will be appreciated.Richard Osborne Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

May-10-02, 05:16 AM (EDT) 2. "RE: mip maps" BRILL!!!Home run - hole in one - 6 over the long boundary - depending on your place of residence.I thought I'd set the sim to run at top quality. The setting was at 2 - I've changed it to 3.I've put up a couple more grabs, though the site seems to be down at the moment 09:18 GMT
Note that I'd also cracked alpha transparency without knowing it!This has been driving me potty for a couple of weeks - it didn't dawn on me it could be anything that simple - something about wood & trees! It's obviously also the thing to check for other people having problems with transparency - alpha transparency doesn't register on the 2 setting. Is there a 4 setting?regards
