Apr-22-02, 04:31 PM (EDT) "Update on the SP MP15AC" Hi Folks! Here's where we stand after about 16 hours of work:

There's still a bit of work to be done, such as lighting, exhaust, an .ENG file, and I'm going to try my hand at animating wipers!I'm quite happy with the 3d trucks. They make the model that much more realistic.I'm also toying with the idea of modelling a basic cab for it, but that may wait. For now, I might just put a simple cab into the loco.Comments, questions and opinions are welcome.Brian. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Apr-23-02, 03:28 PM (EDT) 5. "RE: Update on the SP MP15AC" Right now, plain Jane GP-38. By far not the best choice right now, but I'll need some time to develop a cab for it.Unless someone with more cab experience feels like doing it - I wouldn't complain! Brian. Apr-23-02, 04:04 PM (EDT) 6. "RE: Update on the SP MP15AC" Cool! Very cool!
Here's a pic I took (not a great shot, but hey!) that can be found at www.trainweb.org/csxphotos:
This puppy ruled the yard in Erwin, TN on CSX's Kingsport/Blue Ridge Subs (the old Clinchfield) for several years as the switcher. Looking forward to putting your model on Jerry Sullivan's route in this paint! Keep up the great work! I love how MSTS brings back "the good ole days!" Apr-24-02, 11:18 PM (EDT) 9. "RE: Update on the SP MP15AC" LAST EDITED ON Apr-24-02 AT 11:20 PM (EDT)GP40X?? oo goody! never thought id see one o' them in MSTS... I'd also like to see the GP50/59...Friend once showed me a book with ALL the types of American diesels (and some electric ones) from 1985-2000 (freight trains only i believe)..I was enthralled when I saw my first SD70MAC's..Almost cried when i found out the GP60 was the last of the 'geep' series..I wanted so bad to see a GP75MAC! (back then i didn't know the difference between a liberated exhaust and the dynamic brake grid )
Hauling cars is fun; but crashing them is even better.
