You should make some foreign steamers - would be nice to see that kind of quality on a UK steamer. (apologies to the chap who made the P-2, they are not at all bad like some of the other UK stuff)Message Areas - "Final Teaser before Jubilee Release" – image 2

Look at some of the work by Terry Thornton(LMS/BR) and Peter Harvey(LNER/BR).This is just one of Terry's Black 5's. Brings a tear to my eye, looks just like the ones I used to see in my youth... now where did I put that zimmer frame?Message Areas - "Final Teaser before Jubilee Release" – image 4regards,

Seems as if it's time for me to install TS again ...didn't reinstall it after a big screw-up killed my last installation if Win 98 about one week ago...guess I got disheartened back then considering all the data I lost (my *installed* TS add-ons were not among my backupped data ), but, well, perhaps this was a sign for me to start afresh !>Granted, there has been some UK

>Harvey(LNER/BR). Have to agree here, too! Terry's stuff looks as good as TS add-ons possibly can, and Peter is right on the same step with him. I think for steam locomotives a high degree of detailing is especially important, what with all those pipes, valves, large spoke wheels and of course the motion gear.Eagerly awaiting the F-2! Cheers!D.M.now with a Win 2000 Pro system!

Apr-13-02, 02:48 AM (EST) 7. "RE: Final Teaser before Jubilee Release" Hi John,
thats a very pretty loco !
But I've a hint to you. Look at the cab window of the loco. It seems that the cab has no wall at the other side .You should use texturing inside the cab using the correct material. ( I use in TSM AlphaNorm+ outside and AlphaNorm- inside !)Very good work Tony

Apr-13-02, 09:50 AM (EST) 8. "RE: Final Teaser before Jubilee Release" Tony, thanks for the tip but.. Its allready done Cp Loco's were commonly painted with Green interior cab paint and so thats what you see not the grass on the bank. JohnIn fact you should use alphnorm and alphnorm- for your cabs that allows you to use a plus level alpha above or outside your cab if you need too.
