Mar-29-02, 08:21 PM (EST) "Pennsy K-4" Is any one making the famed Pennsy K-4 to go with the two "Broadway Limited" trains. If possible would you make both a prewar and a postwar version. What about a Streamlined one? Thanks, I hope to see one sometime Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-29-02, 08:57 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Pennsy K-4" I was thinking about these since MSTS came out, and thougth about making one since getting TSM. First, I still have some projects to finish. I couldnt sleep and did some doodleing the other night and this is what I got so far. It's only a few hours work and it's pretty rough around the edges. To get this finished, is a long way down the road.
I'll see what kind of response this thread gets before prioritizing future projects............
This isn't a set project by the NALWsJoe

Mar-30-02, 11:06 AM (EST) 4. "RE: Pennsy K-4" Pretty nice "doodleing", Joe! I would also love to see the K-4, if you get the chance. For anyone doing any PRR layouts, it's a must. Many thanks to you, and the other loco designer/modelers out there!

Mar-30-02, 02:57 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Pennsy K-4" Along with the NYC Hudsons (unstreamlined), I'd say the Pensy K-4s are/were the most modelled locomotives around! Both very classic Americana! Both very much needed! Please count my vote as a YES!!! Tim Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Both in 1935 and in 1949, a GG-1 would pull the Broadway from New York to Harrisburg. In "38, a K-4 -4 would have pulled it from Harrisburg onward. In '49 either a T-1 or a E-7 or 8 diesal would have done the job. Currently a K-4 and T-1 are under construction.>Is any one making the famed
