Mar-27-02, 06:08 PM (EST) "American Orient Express" How about one of these for the Train-Sim file library eh? I found several sites and pictures on this luxury train.http://www.americanorientexpress.com/framesets/frame_train.htmlhttp://www.travelpower.com/rail/AmericanOrientExpress/carriages.htmhttp://www.rextravel.com/rail/amorex/aoetrain.htm
I hope all of these can be useful in some way for someone who chooses to model this grand American Train. It appears to be headed by either an F7 A and B or an E7 A and B. I cant find any numbers though. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

The Vista dome would have to come from the VIA set, and the rest, I dunno. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-29-02, 09:51 PM (EST) 5. "RE: American Orient Express" correct me if I'm wrong
The American Orient Express is its own company, they own their own cars and I think a couple of engines. But they sometimes use Amtrak engines b/c they are run under an Amtrak Train, like the dispatcher on a BNSF route would refer to the AOE train as a Amtrak train, thats why they would use Amtrak engines. Please correct me if I'm wrong.Greg Marck
