Sorry Seb!! You Can't do it! TSM doesn't have boolean operations, (IE) using one object to cut a hole in another object. That's what you need to do that. The only software in the same price bracket that will do it is 3D Canvas http://www.amabilis.com This is one of the current deficiencies of TSM.Best Regards,

"RE: how to make a hole in train sim modeler" Hello,You might be able to do it the hard way....Add points to the area you want to cut into and then remove the poly inside all the points. I remember doing something like that back when I was making aircraft for FS. It's been a long tine since I played in FSDS/TSM so you'll have to experiment a little.Hope that helps,Roger

"RE: how to make a hole in train sim modeler" Hello Seb,Ok I did a little playing around in TSM, and what I've found so far is this.You need to subdivide the polys you want to cut a hole into and then remove the offending polys. To do this try the following.Create a box, pick one side, then go to poly mode. Select the side you want to cut the hole into, then go to the poly menu and choose subdivide. Dived the ploys as far as you want/need to go and then remove the polys that you want to cut out. It's the only way I've seen to do this so far.Hope this helps a little,Roger
