Mar-03-02, 09:58 PM (EST) "Visual Derailments arnt a problem with Engine" JensChris was talking about his bigboy visualy Derailing on sharp turns but it isnt a problem with the engine or his work.
I was running an activity I was making for the PO&N when I noticed the little Switch 0-6-0 I was running also showed as if it was derailing in the Coal mine but didnt have an effect on how the engine was running leading me to belive that it is just a visual glitch in the game. Even the Scotsman to some degree. Personally I can't help but think this is how the trains relate to the track, their rigid axles not being able to follow the tracks laterally like most could. However, IRL, I once had a model northern that simply HATED anything under a code 18 switch. It'd work a Code 10, but complain about it (wobble) and anything less she'd always get her feet dirty. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Visual Derailments arnt a problem with Engine" Hmm..I noticed something strange in the Seaview route..I ran my UP DD40X along the entire stretch of track; and some of the sharper turns, where it couldn't possibly have fit, or should have derailed no matter what (i had derails turned on), it fit like a glove and ran smoothly; causing my eyebrows to migrate towards my nose because of my confusion...Perhaps this was just a minor freak event, so I'll try it again later..
Hauling cars is fun; but crashing them is even better.-Darkfyre Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
