Mar-01-02, 06:14 PM (EST) "Looking for the Daylight" I saw that Trainartisen is making a E-7 Daylight Special and the Carset to go along but no word on if there will be a Daylight 4-8-4 Northern to go with it.
I am not much of a fan of the Diesel Engines as my Subwofer Puts out to much sound with them for one and I have always been partial for the Steam Engines anyway... Had plans to build a HO scale trainset and was going to be based on two engines the Big Boy and the Daylight.
I run the Steam Engines about 90% of the time in the game and play around with the Diesels every now and then Cant wait for that Big Boy and was hoping there would be some Repaints of that 4-8-4 Cotton Belt in Union Pacific Here is a Diesel for all you maby Train Artisen would like this train to add would be the Rock Island Rocket wich Ran thru My home town when it first ran till Rock Island went Belly up and Kyle Train line runs it now and there based at Phillipsburg KS Not sure where the line starts in Kansas But ends at Limon Colorado where Union Pacifics line goes into Denver from there
and the rest of the Rock Island Ruite to Colorado Springs is abandoned and one can find old Rock Island Boxcars engines and other Cars along the Abondoned track ... Or used to anywayDon <----- Big Fan of old Steam Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Mar-01-02, 07:21 PM (EST) 1. "Found the Daylight at the end of the tunnel!" It's not my locomotive but go to this post http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID5/2823.html you'll drool over it. it's a Gs4 daylight still in testing from what the creator says, but it looks to be out soon. It look beautiful! I can't wait to get my hands on that and repaint it in the Texas Western 1940's livery for passenger trains.
Hope this helps!
Bill Hemb.
