Feb-27-02, 10:05 AM (EST) "Goldenpig's SP B39-8" Okay I am putting up the finishing touches on the technical aspect of his engine. Thanks to Fozzy again for making it roadworthy and the borred physics from Bob Boudin, and of course to Goldenpig for taking the time out of his schedule to make his favorite engine (as well as the textures). There will be further updates and model varients in the future (but as he said, SP/SSW/SF first. hehe). After I finish up a few things I will post the engine for all to enjoy.thanks for your waiting.SP_Redwing(sorry for no images, I need to jaunt off to work, but more will come) Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

This is indeed a proud moment for me, my first MSTS loco! I had a lot of fun (along with a lot of frustration) making this. I would once again like to thank Fozzy (I'm sure he is sick of me thanking him but this really meant a lot to me) for getting this thing on the road! I will leave you my millions...
As Redwing said, thanks everyone involved! We diesel-heads thank you! Now then, as I mentioned before SP,SSW, and SF get the treatment first!(it's a personal thing, it's why I did this in the first place) Conrail, CSX, and a few other eastern seaboard RR's will follow. I'll take requests for some others as well. At this time there will be no developers edition *sorry guys*... not right away that is.. Look for it in the Downloads section by this weekend!
Hope you like it!=|Goldenpig Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

>you my millions... Thanks for the Thanks guys!! I really enjoyed doing the work to get it from the 3ds, into the sim. ( although that fuel tank was a bitch!! ROFL ) Plus it's such a stunning model anyway! looks really great hauling long trains.... Been running it over MP3 superb fun!!! I have a feeling this is going to be a really popular model. Keep going!! you're doing great stuff!! and your texture work is also brilliant. I have a feeling the community will be enjoying many more models from your stable soon! There's no need to thank me in any case! This is what the community is all about. When somebody asks for help most designers on here are only to happy to pitch in and help you achieve results! It benefits everybody. The eng from Plainsman Bob was also nice because he sent that along without anyone asking for it even!! just goes to show what this community is really all about!! makes even a hardend bitter nut like me smile!Best Regards,
Julian (Fozzy The Bear)P.S. I don't mind the millions!! That'd be really nice!! LOL

I love all the detail on it, and the paint job looks darn near real. Keep up the AWESOME work!! If I may suggest something for your next model... How about a SD40T-2 in SP paint? I am a big tunnel motor fan but still don't have a SD40T-2 to paint in D&RGW colors. SP and D&RGW were great railroads with the tunnel motors being one of their trademarks. Just a though Nick

That locomotive is first rate, both in the modelling and the texures, very impressive. Being an easterner, I look forward to the CR version Cliff Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
