Feb-23-02, 06:24 PM (EST) "GP40-2W units??? CN or Tri Rail" Anybody gonna do either of these. Here are a couple of pictures of what I'm talking about. I saw the CN SD40-2W but I want the 4 axle GP40, and the Tri Rail GP40-2W in the Tri Rail paint. These units in the pictures belong to Aberdeen Carolina & Western railway here in North Carolina.

All I can say is that I am thrilled!Kurt Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

heres the website of the company that owns it now, well actually they are leasing to buy it. I'm "hopefully" getting a conductor job with them by the end of the month.

CN or Tri Rail" LAST EDITED ON Feb-25-02 AT 03:16 PM (EST)if your looking for tri rail stuff, a while ago i reskinned the F45 into tri rail livery, and as soon as NALW finnishes thier F40, i plan to do a tri rail skin for that as well.Namerifrats, where was the 3rd picture in your original post taken? it looks alot like the tracks that parallel 75 from waxhaw nc that eventually connects to 521 just over the border in sc.

Feb-28-02, 04:51 AM (EST) 9. "RE: GP40-2W units??? CN or Tri Rail" Chris that third picture wasn't taken by me but I do know where it was taken at. Its on Highway 211 about 1 mile east of Candor NC. The conductor is lining the switch at the siding of Mountainare feed mill, there is a Perdue feed mill about a 1/4 mile from it. The feed mill in the other picture was taken at Perdue. Aberdeen Carolina & Western deals with CSX and Norfolk Southern on a daily basis so i don't know where those cars were going. CSX trains are taken to Aberdeen where CSX picks them up and NS train are brought back through Star and taken to Gulf where NS picks them up. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-28-02, 04:55 AM (EST) 10. "RE: GP40-2W units??? CN or Tri Rail" By the way, if whoever is modeling this engine, post some shots of your progress or about when will you have it ready? Mostly all I run in MSTS are CSX, Norfolk Southern, and ACWR trains. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-28-02, 07:26 PM (EST) 11. "RE: GP40-2W units??? CN or Tri Rail" The last pics that Justin posed here went bye bye...don't worry, it will probably be released with his mega load of BNSF, the new Dash 9, GP38 and SD40-2 models....try posting a "Paging Justin Cornell" post to get his attention and get you some screenshots.Kurt Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
