Feb-20-02, 06:01 PM (EST) "German locos and double decker now avaiable as beta version" Hi everybody,My model of the german classes 212/243/112/143 has
finally made it to beta stage. It has completely new bogies with fixed textures and some
other minor improvements. Yet, still some things are missing
to make it a version 1.0. (The details can be found on the
download page).Here's a preview:
So far there's only the prototype livery available (which
can be seen on the picture). During the next few days, more
liveries souuld become available. I've planned a set of 14
liveries:-212 001 Prototype (the "white lady") - AVAILABLE
-243 001 Prototype "White lady" - SOON
-243 001 Prototype "LEW" - SOON
-143 001 Prototype "AEG" - SOON
-143 001 Prototype "ADTranz" - SOON
-243 dark red DR livery - SOON
-143 regional livery (yellow/orange) owned by DR - SOON
-143 regional livery owned by DB - SOON
-143 dark red former DR livery, owned by DB - SOON
-143 161-8 DR special livery - SOON
-143 old DB livery (red/white) - SOON
-143 new DB livery (bright red/dark grey/white) - SOON
-112 old DB livery (red/white) - SOON
-112 new DB livery (bright red/dark grey/white) - SOONThe locomotive, combined with the type DAbz756 double deckers
(old green DB regional livery), can be downloaded from my
temporary page:http://trainsim.immosworld.dePlease let me know what you think of the models!PeterVonFrosta2

And we can use the first now..and it's a beta. So if anybody gives him the right critical comments his will improve too.

Feb-21-02, 09:06 AM (EST) 3. "RE: German locos and double decker now avaiable as beta version" Hey Andre don't you agree that if some slug jumps into some one else's announcement and says "Mine is Better" and neglects to mention that "Mine" is payware it is in poor form?????
Just because of what this gentlement did I would be very loath to "purchase" his product....
If in fact "Mine" is payware and the original is Freeware then logically one would expect "mine" to be better or no one would buy it.... Works for every one except Auran who's MSTS add on packs(Both Freeware and Payware) are, IMHO, just marketing ploys for their Trainz package and don't even come up to the quality of mediocre freeware.... Don't believe me? Check out the amount of work necessary to make the DD40 playable! Look at the one size fits all cab on their North American Loco's add on.... One size fits all is only marginally acceptable in Freeware and totally unacceptable in payware....------Chuck Schneider---------

>-----"Power for You"------- The Auran MSTS Add-ON is an entirely different story. Has nothing to do with the "Mine is Better" remarks. I have it and don't like it. They look great in Trainz but not in MSTS .André Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
