Feb-20-02, 05:17 PM (EST) "Help needed yet again....." 1. First thing is how do I get screenshots Ive taken into JPEG or whatever format? they are in my Word program right now for some reason. 2. Second thig im leaving to route-making experts. While construction goes well on my Hastings Central, I doubt it will be up for grabs any time soon. Im creating a test activity to see how the rout will look, and if i should take anything out. But i dont know how to program towns, stations, etc. so I cant give the computer a starting location for the train! Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Hi If you would like to convert a screenshot you have taken then, if you have no other image program MS paint will do it, I cant remember what format word saves images in I think its wmf I could be wrong any way. If you are taken screen shots of MSTS, after you have pressed the Print Screen button, press alt and tab MSTS will minimise and then you can open paint (under Accessories) and then press Crtl v and your screen shot will appear, just choose the Save as option from File it defaults to bmp but if you drop down the box you will see jpeg, Then if you want you can leave paint open and click the Train Simulator button in the bottom task bar MSTS will carry on from where you Alt Tabbed it, you can take lots of screen shots this way with out open and close MSTS.Remember that clipboard that is where your screen shot goes first only stores 1 image at a time so if you press Print Screen repeat the above mentioned steps to save the new image.I hope that is a help if you knew some of this stuff sorry for boring you with it others may not know.Peter Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
