Feb-10-02, 04:58 PM (EST) "PRR steam Turbine" Ok, here is the skinny, I think I messed My first atempt so bad that i have to start over, so it might be even longer. Once again, my problems are the fact that I can't resize the thing, I've tryed everything I can this of, and the fact that the wheels animation is royally screwed up. oh well , try try and try again. it will be reality someday

Hey Delamaize,I've been watching your progress with interest, and know how frustrating it can be, as I am struggling with the whole 3D modelling process myself. I read somewhere (I can't for the life of me remember, although I'll post again later when I recall) that models done in 3D Canvas Pro should be aligned along the near-far axis (as against the left-right or up-down one) Sorry about the vagueness, I forget which is X, Y and Z! Apparently if this is not done then animation problems will occur. I can't help with the scale problems, but I'm sure someone will. Keep up the efforts, we budding loco builders need all the encouragement we can get. Now if I can only work out the basics myself!!! Does anyone know of a tutorial that shows how to design a model from a set of scale plans (as against building a whale!).
