Feb-05-02, 08:58 AM (EST) "Illinois Central Theater car" Howdy,I still have some bugs to work out here.
Beleive it or not, there are seats in the model, I just can't figure out why you can't see them from the outside.Texture needs some tweaking also.Oh Well, I'll get it if it kills me.Let me know what Y'all think please. Thanks,
Sam

Feb-05-02, 10:04 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Illinois Central Theater car" I like it, though it's odd that you can't see any of the interior. Hopefully one of the design gurus will show up with some ideas.Take care,Henry Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-05-02, 11:55 AM (EST) 5. "RE: Illinois Central Theater car" It is on the IC business train as the last car. Imagine the window on the back is a movie screen with seats in front of it. It allows the rider to have a wide open view of the countryside.David Klemm

Feb-05-02, 12:39 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Illinois Central Theater car" Isn't it used for some kind of track "inspection" by the corporate types? I guess for most of them that just means checking out the countryside while sipping a beverage , but I suppose it could also be for looking at the roadbed, ties, and track conditions, as well as trackside structures, etc. I though that's what those bright white lights on the bottom are/were for, to light up the track area.troub

Feb-06-02, 04:11 AM (EST) 8. "RE: Illinois Central Theater car" Howdy,The lights are used to inspect the trackage, as well as a good bit of the area around the track I guess. Each light is 1.3 million candle power, according to the IC theater car hand out.A freind of mine at work got to see it one night with the lights on, he said it was rather bright. Now, to get them to work on the model. Thanks,
Sam
