Feb-04-02, 10:28 PM (EST) 7. "RE: Aussie 81 Class Update - New Livery underway" Wow, fantastic stuff. I'm rapt to see more and more Australian stuff appearing all the time. Of course, the more Victorian stuff to appear, the happier I'll be (IMHO the A2 was the best looking locomotive design EVER) but living in Wagga means that I've quickly learnt to appreciate the joys of NSW rail. I've got TSM on order, so I hope to add to the Australian collection sometime soon. A blue 44 would look great, although all of the above mentioned types would be great.

Feb-04-02, 04:06 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Aussie 81 Class Update - New Livery underway" I'd like to see a 44class. There were 100 of them in tuscan, reverse, blue and gold, candy and red terror so there is good value to be had there.
I'd prefer tuscan to go with the HUB set of carriages that I am working on.Michael Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-04-02, 09:07 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Aussie 81 Class Update - New Livery underway" I guess I'd like to see a 44 class most, in Tuscan and Candy, but honestly I would be over the moon with any of the classes mentioned. You are a legend.

Feb-05-02, 01:15 AM (EST) 8. "RE: Aussie 81 Class Update - New Livery underway" Looks like the 44 is a hot favourite. It is however the one I was hoping to leave last, only because of the curves on the nose.
I've had my fair share of trying to create smooth curved surfaces. But I guess it's a lot easier than the nose I did on the maglev...talk about tedious. Also there's the job of finding a suitable cabview.Ok, when the 81's are out of the way, on with the 44 and 422.Gotta figure out how to do new sounds too, one gets tired of hearing the same old dash 9 in everything one drives.
Craigps, I've recieved advice I have cabview pics for the NR on the way soon. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-05-02, 09:00 AM (EST) 9. "RE: Aussie 81 Class Update - New Livery underway" This brings me back to the one item I would name essential for any possible patch for Train Sim if I were asked to state only one thing that should be fixed... D I F F E R E N T GAUGES!!!
Somehow it just doesn't feel right riding narrow- and broad-gauge locos on the "MSTS Single Unified Worldwide Gauge"...BTW, those locos are nice! (That's why I think they deserve proper trackage!!!)D.M.

Feb-05-02, 11:07 PM (EST) 10. "RE: Aussie 81 Class Update - New Livery underway" Hi CJ the good news is that Beadyboys loco's are all standard guage so they could in theory run on most of the default lines in TS except for the Japanese ones.
