Feb-03-02, 03:15 PM (EST) "ChrisTrains NS1200 Superscale nearly ready" Now I'm done with my contract work, I'm back fettling my locos and starting some new builds. First to be upgraded to Superscale is the NS1200 (Nederlands Spoorwegen = Dutch Railways, NOT Norfolk & Southern).
There's a ton of changes to the model. The main one is the increase of texture resolution (4x), but I've added all the handrails, fixed the pantographs, put the HT cabling system on the roof, made the cab windows transparent etc etc etc. One big change was when I went back to the original model, I'd since been given the plans to the loco rather than just eyeballing it off photos, and the nose, roofline and cab windows were totally wrong. So they got re-built too.
The inside cabview and controls will get done in a few weeks - living in Salt Lake City with the olympics coming to town means I'm off for a couple of weeks and I won't have access to my PC.Anyhoo, a picture tells a thousand words and everything, and the train will be available for download sometime on Monday 4th Feb from www.trains-station.com :

They are really looking very good. Have you thought about UN-SHELVING your TGV Atlantique preject? If you made it , LOTS and LOTS people would be very happy. So anyways WOOHOO more great trains and I must say it's about time.
P.S. your ns1200 looks really detailed , from what I see it's about as good as Trainartisan's trains!!! That's a rare thing
