Feb-02-02, 08:07 AM (EST) ""Borrowed" container textures" Mark Toland's new doublestacks are nice but the next time he uses my container textures as a basis for his own I wish he would give me credit for my work. If I put my container textures on top of his they're an exact match in all important features, including size, even though he has applied some filters to them and added more text and weathering. The exact match includes some unusual "3D" features in the textures that I've made that I've never seen in the work of others. Until now....
The picture is a composite of a magnified part of Mark Toland's texture to the left, my original texture to the right and my texture with Gaussian blur applied in the center.
Mark Toland's bare metal texture to the left, my original texture to the right, my texture with Gaussian blur applied in the center. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: "Borrowed" container textures" I have apologized publicly on the forum (earler in another thread on one of the other forums)I have apologized directly to you by e-mail, and you responded in the public forum rather than return e-mail.I have made the changes you demanded in the readme fileI have contacted Nels and asked to have the readme files changed in the original DTTXBN .zip file. Hopefully this will appease you.
