Jan-30-02, 01:48 PM (EST) "Help in Setup of Your BOUNDING BOXES" This is so useful that I had to re-post it. To see the bounding boxes in TrainSim, just type "Ctrl +" (the plus sign key on the numeric keyboard) and they appear as red outlines around your cars. Now I know that there are quite a few who didn't know this, because when I used it, I found several of the cars I downloaded were set up wrong. It is not my own observation and I have included the message as I found it on the message boards below. Thanks Andyz & Jim Stevens.
*Hi all!
*Do you know that it is possible to actually see the bounding *boxes when operating a train in MSTS ?
*Just type this key combination to toggle the b'box view:
*Ctrl + (that is the Plus key on the numeric keypad)
*The b'boxes are shown in red. (I believe this was in an early *thread involving Jim Stevens).
*cheers
*Andyz

>Boomer I usually adjust based on the coupler's modeled size. I think it should look right, not so much conform to published drawings/blueprints. Now, if I were modeling the car, I'd try to go off the coupled length values, but if someone else built, all I can change is the distance for coupling.Mike
