Jan-29-02, 00:15 AM (EST) "How to convert lbs. to kW and kN?" Hello
Someone I know has a large collection of train books. I was looking through them to find technical data on the "Big Blow" gas turbine. I found some of the specs in a book about UP's oddball heavy equipment like the turbines, Big Boys, DD's etc. The problem is these values are in lbs (pounds). How do you convert pounds to kW and kN? If someone knows how to do the conversions, let me know and I can update the tractive effort values on Jens-Chris's new Big Blow.Thanks
