Jan-28-02, 05:40 PM (EST) "Spanish 252 coming soon" Hi everyone!I'm in the final stages of designing the spanish 252 electrical loco. I'm about to finish texturing the model and all that still needs to be done are the pantographs, so I guess I'll be able to upload the loco at the end of the week.
But for now I have two questions:
1) Does anybody know whether a more textures will have an influence on the framerate.
2) I'm not a computer freak and don't really know every technical detail about my hardware, so I'd like to know if anyone else has a Voodoo3 3000 video card that he could not bring to display 512x512 textures properly. Someone told me this was an unsufficiency that particular video card had, but although it seems to be a very common video card, I haven't found anyone with the same problem yet. Might that be because the problem has been fixed???
I wouldn't like to release a loco without some appropiate cars to pull, so I'm thinking about designing a Talgo VII trainset immediately afterwards...Centurio2k2 Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
