Jan-27-02, 11:55 PM (EST) "TSM for Dummies (like me) ?" Hello
Does anyone know if there is a good tutorial online for TSM? I just found TSM in the store today, but was pretty intimidated by it once I got it installed, and I'm not real sure what to do with it. Keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about CAD, mechanical drawing or 3d modeling.Grizzly

Althought I've had some experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, each program has differences that require a learning curve. IMHO, start with a model your familiar with. In this case you will already know what should look about right and will help some of the intimidation factor. My first models were a real mess as far as skinning so, in my case I should have started with something easier and learned that way.I must add, that TSM is a fairly friendly program. Play with the features, create a box and a tube, join them together and see what happens. Try one of the default skins in the program on the your creation to see how the skin is applied to the different surfaces. But most important, have fun with the process I'm not an expert but, if I can help you get 'into' the TSM program let me know.Boomer Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-28-02, 12:26 PM (EST) 3. "RE: TSM for Dummies (like me) ?" I would suggest you obtain (download) some Flight Sim Turtorials for FSDS. There are lots of good turtorials that show some different ways of doing things. I cant find the sites I used on my list, so do a search on Flight Sim turtorials.DonMessage Areas - "TSM for Dummies (like me) ?" – image 2 Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
