Jan-27-02, 05:04 PM (EST) 3. "RE: GE's" I think he wants the 4 axle models, B30-7, B36-7, and U30B? Did I read your mind correctly??
BTW I posted .eng files for C39-8 and C40-8 months ago. I have no art talent, so thats the best I can do to help. I would enjoy some regular cab Dash 8s myself. Soon enough I guess. I am working on V4.1 physics for most Dash 8s. should be ready soon.
Thanks,

Jan-27-02, 07:24 PM (EST) 5. "RE: GE's" Hey Guys,
Some modern GEs would be great! I would love to have a C40-8 as CSX (and other roads) had tons of these locos! As for other models, namely 4 axle models, once I get the BQ23-7 done, it would be real simple to remove the "quarters" cab and put the cab and nose from the C30-7 on it and voila, you have a B23-7. With minor tweaks, this could also be a B30-7 and B36-7. By moving the step in the long hood back, the models could easily be U33B and U36Bs. By removing the "wings", the model could be a U23B. By taking the U23B and shortening it, a U18B could be built! Hahahaha! The list goes on and on!John D. Peterson

Jan-27-02, 08:39 PM (EST) 6. "RE: GE's" Would like to see some U-boats as opposed to the "Dash" units. One unique U-boat I'd like to see is the U25C. It has tri-mount trucks simular to the alco's trimount but the Equalizers/frames/ whatever their called are a lot heavier than the alco version and they have a really powerful look.

Feb-02-02, 01:23 AM (EST) 14. "RE: GE's" for anyone who's interested in making a standard cab dash 8 all it would take is a slight rework of the front of the dash 9. the dash 9 and dash 8 are virtually identical with the exception grill and headlight placement respective to each railroads needs Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
