Dec-28-01, 05:47 PM (EST) "Rear Lights" LAST EDITED ON Dec-28-01 AT 05:55 PM (EST)For a switcher we want to create a different light-combination;What we want is:
a. Dim Light: Red Lights at front
Yellow Lights at the rear.
Sphere of Light at the rear.
b. Bright Light: Red Lights at the rear
Yellow Lights at the front
Sphere of Lgiht at the front. We managed the Red and Yellow lights but we failed to get a good Sphere of Light at the rear of the Locomotive. Whatever we tried we only got a sphere of light which shows the lightcone towards the locomotive instead of from the locomotive towards the area in the back. I checked Mark Toland's Alco S4 and it had the same problem.Has anybody a solution for this problem? André Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-28-01, 06:33 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Rear Lights" So far I have been unable to get anything except a cone of light pointing forward. On the Alco S4 and The SW1500 I placed the cone of light very low to the ground and as close to the cab as I could get without lighting it. If someone has a fix I would be most interested.Mark Toland Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-28-01, 06:57 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Rear Lights" Hi Mark,I checked your SW1500 after i posted here but indeed it had the same cone. Fortunately your models do not require a big cone. We are adapting the Belgium HLD51 diesel and when using the normal lights it really looks bad. If there is no solution i think we might have to change the cone in the size like the SW1500 has. At least it gives the impression the light source is close.I must say i like the details of your SW1500. I love the backwards looking right cabview André Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
