Dec-20-01, 10:00 PM (EST) "animation" I'm going nuts with this one. I'm using TSM and I wish to animate a part that has to on one end rotate in the x and z axis, and on the other move only in the z axis direction. I have posted on 3dtrains forum and I haven't gotten any response there either. I bought TSM with the idea of buiding steam locomotives in mind. Did I waste my money? Does 3d canvas support complex animations. I like TSM's ease of exporting to MSTS, and the fact that I can work in 2d. Does 3dc allow one to work in 2d, and does it support complex animations. The voice of insanity in a seemingly normal world. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-21-01, 09:05 AM (EST) 1. "RE: animation" Can't help you with TSM, but...3D Canvas allows you to model in one or several views (including 2-D views), and it handles animation quite well -- judging from the steam locos that are out there, made with 3DC. See for yourself, the MSTS steam gallery on the 3D Canvas website at www.amabilis.comHave fun,
Clem
