>0-4-2t, Norfolk Navy Yard #5. Hey!! John these are fantastic!! Ermmmmmm Don't be forgetting Jupiter and 119 will you...... We can't do Golden Spike Without em!Can't wait to get my grubby little Bear Paws on them!!Best Regards,
Julian (Fozzy The Bear)P.S. The 1892 rebuild should be the configuration in which it appears in the Buster Keyton movie "The General" ??? But from the still pics of that I've seen there are a few differences! I'm trying to get hold of them so I can send them to you. The guy I knew locally, that had them, has done a vanishing act...... Fingers crossed!!! Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

>the General. Which Disney movie has The General in it??? I only know of the Buster Keyton movie... BTW if anybody knows where I can get a copy of that Buster Keyton movie, especially if it's on DVD then please let me know!! I've been trying to get hold of a copy for years! I know it was restored and played in some big re-premiers with a full orchestral soundtrack! IE Live Orchestra! I know it ws released as a laser disk about 12 to 15 years ago but I've never managed to get hold of a copy that will play over here in the UK.Video Tape would do at a push! but it needs to be PAL not NTSC.Best Regards,

Dec-08-01, 01:47 AM (EST) 11. "RE: 4-4-0 W&A General" Hey Fozzy,The Disney movie is titled "The Great Locomotive Chase". It stars Fess Parker (Daniel Boone) amongst others, and was filmed on the Tallulah Falls Railroad in northest Georgia in 1955. My dad is from that area and remembers the filming quite well. I actually live in Cartersvile, Ga near the line where the chase actually occoured.Oh yeah... I ordered the Disney film on DVD from Amazon.com about 3 days ago. I paid about $28.And to keep this message on topic, I'd also like to say those are gonna be some dynamite engines, I'll look forward to d/l them. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-11-01, 04:17 PM (EST) 16. "RE: 4-4-0 W&A General" Great job! I love it but you left something out. There is a cowcatcher on the tender in the 1880 rebild. But thats great job. Very good on the details. You even didn't but the number on the orginal design. Most peple make that mistake but you got it!Welcome abord the Silver Streak! Most relaxing ride between LA and Chicago. Dec-16-01, 12:59 PM (EST) 17. "RE: 4-4-0 W&A General" I love them!!! I can barely wait to get a hold of them! How long did it take you to make them? Because I tried to make some 2-8-0's or 4-4-0's myself but it was to much work for me so I gave up.-Zach Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
