"RE: Some cars I'd like to see "spawned"" classics gotta have classics. 65 4 door nova(my car), 69 plymouth gtmy car again), 65 T-bird (my car again lol), 72 chevelle 454, 72 hemi 'cuda, gotta have a 57 bel air conv. or ht, 40 chevy pickup, 64 mustange, 67 shelby gt500, 57 ford skyliner retractable (thats a beutiful ht conv.), and a packard. these would go great with my all steamer and early f7's route lol. and yes i really do own the first three and am currently buyin a 72 chevelle 454 so if anyone needs picks for em. not to ramble here but incase your wounderin how i got these expense beuties i buy junkers and restore em. not to mention its also my job but i do it for fun. "RE: Some cars I'd like to see "spawned"" i know the last year was 71 but i wanna put a 426 hemi into a 72. sorry i should have clarified that. i'm only 17 and i know quite alot about the classics ( seeing as how i restore them for a living but thats not a job to me but a hobby that pays very well). but your right i think everything was better back then too. not just cars but life itself. money wise it was harder then but life was more peaceful. i'd give anything to just go back to anywhere from the 50' to the 70's even for a minute just to see the cars though wouldn't wanna live then now thanks to TS and i couldn't leave my beuties behind either.lol. "RE: Some cars I'd like to see "spawned"" Hi. yes a 64 vette is a classic. nice car btw. a guy i work with has 12 of em and 8 57's 2 68's and a 61. he actually has a total of 24 vettes from 57 to 69. not to mention his other 10 musce cars. yes he has a 69 GTO JUDGE. Beutiful car. gloss black with white stripes on the hood. you know the classic JUDGE hood trim. anything thats 25 years or older is a classic. anything 50 years or older is an antique. i'm not just saying that. thats how they're classified. my frieds 76 impala won't be a classic till jan. but hey its still nice. wouldn't drive anything else but a classic. my mom hates gettin in my nova it but i hate drivin POS Kia Rio.lol. and yes believe it or not you can still get NOS for those cars. the guy that i mentioned with the vettes has a 65 all dragged out. huge outta the hood blower and massive dragster wheels in the back. he built it 15 yrs. ago but just added the NOS last year. to find NOS and other rare parts go to swap meets and car clubs they'll tell ya whee to go. I see lots of guys take like a 68 Camero tub out the body , install a monster 454 sure it looks and runs great but its not worth a much as a stock 68 origional is ... "RE: Some cars I'd like to see "spawned"" Hi. your right about that. the guy did it when he was 16 he only added the NOS just recently just to say he has it. he never ever even drove the friggin thing. my 65 nova's all stock down to the last nut and bolt except for the oil pan and filter, fuel pump and filter. my 65 T-Bird has a rebuilt engine but its the original block and all just "remodified" its stock but just rebuilt. my 69 GTX was all rebuilt from the frame up. my dad let it go and i took her and rebuilt her. it was fun but workin on that old mopar was a b@#*h just because of the size.lol. your wrong though. a 64 vette conv. is worth 85 90 grand mint and 40 grand neading full restoration. trust me i rebuild em for a living. not vettes though. the garage i work for only does '55 and under. realy like to work on a chevy or mopar every now and then but for now i gotta settle for packards, mercedes 300 sl's, 48 chryslers, etc. don't sell your vette though. i know alot of guys that would love to get there first car r any classic they ever owned back. they said the dumbest thing they ever did was sell it. besides if you sell it you'll loose all those priceless memories you had with it. all the money in the world can't replace them. even if you bought the car back after you sell it it still won't feel the same. thats not a car you have thats a treasure, one of a kind, a diamond in the rough or whatever term you prefer. the car i'm currently buying is worth $375,000 (no thats not a typo) fully restored but i'll never ever sell it. too nice a car and i'm gonna have too many memories to let it go. that plus the fact i'm one of those people that doesn't get rid of anything.lol. nice though i have to say wish i had one. but i want a 62 hardtop stingray. ( i think thats the one with the 2 windows in the back) not sure. don't know that much about vettes, camaros, and firebirds yet. i know everything else but.lol. anyway i'm rambling. keep that treasure. its worth it. Some motorhomes and campers would look really nice on that new Central Wisconsin route. Howzabout cement trucks or dump trucks? Hey Marc and Mark, will we see offroad dump trucks and shovels in the mines in the LTV routes as per the real thing, or ain't you talkin'? Regarding the one persons requests for semis, there IS a semi in the Marias Pass route. Kinda looks like a FreightShaker when vewed from the front, however it only appears as a static object and not in the carspawner. Something tells me that it's difficult if not impossible to make a vehicle towing a trailer to "bend" when going around a corner in this sim, but I could be totally wrong.Don Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Some cars I'd like to see "spawned"" Hi. there is a semi as a staic object but someone made a route that has it in the car spawner. i had the route up untill my PC crashed 5 days ago. i forget the name. also i'm making a "train semi" in other words its going to have smoke fx in the stacks and is also going to drive whever you want it to. i'm not going to reveal the formula just yet as i'm not sure which one will work.(i have 5 formulas) but as soon as i get it done i'll let you guys know and i'll upload it to the library. please let me know if your interested. e-mail me if you are. if i get n feesback i'm not going to upload it.
