May-31-02, 12:26 PM (EDT) "Help needed" Does anybody else get Send/Don't send's with my FM H-24-66 models? I have spent almost a week by trying to fix the problem, but it's extremely hard becase I don't know what's wrong and how could I fix it. And the faulty locomotive is not always the same.I got them to work perfectly, until I added the N&W locos, and then activity editor crashes when trying to save consist. It seems like a problem with the .eng file, but I'm not sure. This crashing started after I made the Reading loco, which works fine on my machine, but at least one person said that it crashes.There's no more non-planar polygons or other faults in the shapes(according to TSM).Enocell Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

What the f**k is wrong with the game/editors, as it just crashes and crashes? I didn't pay over $1000 for this.Is there any real problem at all? They worked perfecly in mid-April(when I made them), and then I thought that it was a sign of some big disaster. These locos were the only models which had no crashing problems(and that was weird)!Please test the models in activity editor and as static consists(so the 3 detail levels will be tested)Enocell Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: Help needed" Teemu, only the EL refuses to work and thats only in the sim, it works fine in the AE but gives the infamous uid 200001 cant place car in world error in the sim followed by the S/DS message of death. I did complete reinstall today, and now I have only the EL H-24-66's installed and they crash the consist editor, and randomly in the game. I unzipped them from the original zips from 4/4/2002. I guess I'll have to remove the third detail level. It seems that the crashing may be caused by compression with ffedit, or long texture names, double sided polygons or sunspots etc. Game crashes when loading activity, or changing view or exit activity. All this happens randomly with no apparent reason. Is TSM somehow buggy with two(or more) distance levels?I uploaded the source file to
