Mar-29-01, 01:45 PM (EST) "I can't wait!" First off thanks to Nels for the new forum! I have been waiting (and still am) for months since I heard MS is gonns do a train sim. If its as good as FS has been I will be a most happy railroader. If it is a good sim I predict it will out distance the Flight Sim at two or maybe three times the sales figures. There are a lot more train fanatics around then there are plane fanatics. The talk on every railway site on the net has been about the MS train sim for about a half year now.If its as good as the pics look I can put my electric train layout up for sale!Rich

Mar-29-01, 02:30 PM (EST) 1. "RE: I can't wait!" Hi Rich...I can't wait either. I've been hearing about this since last August, so it's been a long wait too. I've been interested in trains even longer than I've been interested in planes so finally having a chance to simulate them will be great. I hope that MSTS lives up to what we've seen in the screen shots. If it does I think you're right that a big community is going to develop around this sim.

Apr-04-01, 08:02 PM (EST) 2. "RE: I can't wait!" Exactly, exactly like you. I can't wait. First come love for trains and model trains in my childhood. And almost simoultaneusly, love for planes. But I'll never forget the first oval key worked train I had. And I cannot forget my first on train trips when I was only 5 years old. And I cannot forget too the scale model train I own in my home with a lot of locos and wagons collected from I was ten until now!!Pedro Aviles

Apr-05-01, 09:42 AM (EST) 3. "RE: I can't wait!" It seems an awful lot of people have memories like that, no matter where they lived in the world. Surely that's a big part of the attraction to model trains and now to simulated trains.
