Apr-06-02, 06:18 PM (EST) ".s file can't be found in route editor???!!!!!" I coverted my TSM project to a static object for my route. I opened up the route editor and it said that there was a shape in the .ref file for the object, but it wasn't in the shapes folder. I went to the shapes folder and both the .s and .sd files were there. Why and where did the conversion go wrong? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Apr-06-02, 06:38 PM (EST) 1. "RE: .s file can't be found in route editor???!!!!!" I've notice problems like that or failing to complete the conversion with the updated version of TSModeler. It appears to be very fussy with path naming or some other unexpected things that didn't bother the original version.
Make sure that you selected the destination path from the route pulldown listing and read the report after the conversion is done to check for errors.
If it sucuessfully made the conversion and didn't place the s and sd files in the shape folder, it may be hiding in the route folder. I found an .ace file there on one of those screwups when I had problems last night with it. In that case, there was a space in the object's name that caused the problem.
You don't have to use the 8.3 naming that DOS expects on your objects. TSModeler assigns a temporary 8.3 name when doing file conversion. Just don't use any spaces in the name.SRV Ron Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
