Apr-04-02, 04:58 PM (EST) "TSM object conversion." Why when I go to convert a project to a static object using TSM (without the patch) its says it can't convert the .s file to binary. Is there any possible way to fix this? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Apr-04-02, 05:06 PM (EST) 1. "RE: TSM object conversion." Hoosac;I have the same issue since the patch, the s won't convert to binary. I have to run ffedit from the command prompt to get it compressed. I'll write the creator of TSM and see if he has an idea on what is happening.David Klemm

Apr-04-02, 07:25 PM (EST) 3. "RE: TSM object conversion." The last 2 times I had that error it turned out that one of my texture names didn't follow the file format of "8.3". Under "edit" the last list item is "convert texture filename". I did that - and wound up re-texturing the whole project - but after that it converted.....go figure

Apr-04-02, 09:29 PM (EST) 5. "RE: TSM object conversion." I have had the same problem but it had more to do with the texture file than the s. files. I had a problem trying to stretch textures too far.

Apr-04-02, 09:39 PM (EST) 6. "RE: TSM object conversion." David,I'm using 98SE. I don't want to upgrade to XP until I go new with everything else because my audio files will go haywire ( it's a Tascam thing....)
Otherwise, TSM's been doing a good job for me.

Apr-05-02, 03:22 PM (EST) 7. "RE: TSM object conversion." I took your advice and it coverted. But it says in the Route editor that the .ref file displays an object but the .s file isn't in the shapes folder. Can you help me please? Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

The only thing I can think of in this case is to make sure you kept the same name for the object. If you did, perhaps you might try deleting the .s, .sd, .ace, and the ref file out of the route, then run the convert process again making sure the "overwrite old files box" is checked off.
