Mar-26-02, 10:29 PM (EST) "Error message/ Activity editor & Train simulator" Normally I use Conbuilder to check all my newly loaded files, but I missed one this evening; and it is playing havoc! When I tryed making a new consist in "Activity editor", I got the following:
Error reading train database file
File:Trains\trainset\gt598162\gtw598162.wag.
I removed the culprit file from the MSTS\Trains\Trainset folder, but I continue getting the error message weather I'm trying to use the activity editor; or if I'm loading "Train Simulator".
Anyone have the answer for me on this one? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance Ron K of Rockford Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

You have a consist file that wants that car gt589162. So deleting that one does not help. You have to open the consist file, look for it, and change it. Use ConBuilder.

While on the subject of consist editor; is there any way of getting everything in some kind of order; instead of the mangled mess that I am seeing?
