Feb-21-02, 02:14 AM (EST) "Lehigh Valley 309 ready for release" LAST EDITED ON Feb-21-02 AT 02:17 AM (EST)Of course it isn't 309 but 301, shouldn't have posted the message that late! Lehigh Valley GP9 301 in the yellow band scheme is ready to be released. I had problems with uploading it to the file library, i'll try to fix it with Nels.

Feb-21-02, 11:21 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Lehigh Valley 309 ready for release" Nice repaint, but you could renumber it to another number so we wouldn't have duplicates. There is already LV #300 and #301.Or you could change it to GP18 #304 or #305:

Eng files can be found from the file library(or I can email).Enocell Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Very nicely done!
Here's the prototype from George Elwood's site:
I look forward to it!Enocell,
Can you point me in the direction of the existing MSTS LV#301?
Your #300 (which I continue to enjoy running, thanks!) is the only one I can find in the library. Werner has painted what I believe was the only unit painted in this manner with the wide yellow band. Thanks to both of you, 300 and 301 will make a nice duo!jfroth1

Feb-21-02, 01:30 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Lehigh Valley 309 ready for release" LAST EDITED ON Feb-21-02 AT 01:39 PM (EST)Enocell,
is there already a 301 available? I haven't found it yet.
The 301 was the only one to get this scheme, so a renumbering won't make much sense...
I also made a 305 in the tuscan/yellow scheme of the late 60s (like the 300 in the pic jfroth1 posted), but it was a GP18. Do you have a eng for that?
Werner

I just re-uploaded it.Enocell Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-21-02, 05:26 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Lehigh Valley 309 ready for release" looks like we were both working on the same....
In your post you are asking if you also should make the factory fresh version. Well, mine isn't weathered.
If the folks here want it, we could post them both. I for myself would also like to have your version.
I also tried to upload two different LV cabooses but whatever i do i get a "filename already exists" error.
I already e-mailed Nels but he hasn't answered yet

Feb-21-02, 05:53 PM (EST) 7. "RE: Lehigh Valley 309 ready for release" As Many of us here are 'connoisseurs' of the pre-Conrail Fallen Flag RRs, I agree with Lawrence Kellie's adroit statement that Both weathered and unweathered models are welcome additions.
Thank you enocell (a little late) and Werner for your efforts.

Feb-22-02, 11:57 AM (EST) 8. "RE: Lehigh Valley 309 ready for release" It's good to have both weathered and clean versions.About the file library, is there some good reason for only 8 char file names? We will run out of names soon...Enocell Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-21-02, 03:16 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Lehigh Valley 309 ready for release" I, speaking just as a user, not a connoisseur of railroads, would love to have both in the file library. I may, for whatever reason, be happier with one than with the other. No problem for this user.Lawrence Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
