I'm glad that you are enjoying the whirlybird......It makes all the struggling to get the canopy "tinted" worthwhile ( at first it was too clear - invisible - I wound up airbrushing some black at 5% on the Alpha channel to solve the problem ) I'm going to try the earlier Bell model next.

Maybe you can add more details to it.. so people can reskin it into more models (with credit that is!)

One thing I discovered by accident may interest you. After parking the 'bird on the ground, I hit F6, checked "animate", and let it go. Then I hit F6 a second time, UN-checked "animate" and the blades stopped at a random rotation, not always lined up with the fuselage. If you have a couple of them ( as in your screenshot ), you could get some variety by trying this technique ( and get the pilot yelled at in the process for not tying down properly! ).
