Feb-11-02, 08:03 PM (EST) "Same old dog...New trick..." CliNk HeRE,Just got MSTS and it seems to have some good potential.Just down loaded the 3d F7A Demo and installed with self installer. No problem there.Installed fine. However i decided to add an F7 cab since one did not come with the demo.Used latest download from this site.Instruction said to replace original Cab Folder with new Cab Folder.I did that.Didn't say to do anything else as far as editing or replacing other files etc..Now when i pull it up in the game it just defaults to the GP38 Cab,no F7 Cab.This may have been discussed before,i'm sure, but i'm on the 2year behind everyone else plan so cut me some slack as they say.Any input on this?I'm sure theres an easy fix to what i'm doing. Thanks, clinK Out.... Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

2. Change 3DTrains_FUnit.cvf to F7A.cvfor rename F7A.cvf to 3DTrains_FUnit.cvf in the cabview folderKevin Arceneaux

Feb-12-02, 05:28 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Same old dog...New trick..." If you havn't already, might I recomend the Train Artisan F7 set? There is some discussion about which of these two is "the best", but the TA version comes with a fantastic cabview that is installed with their own self installer, so no trouble fiddling with .eng files and the like. www.trainartisan.com Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
