Feb-09-02, 04:46 PM (EST) "Uninstalling Routes" Is there a way to uninstall routes that you're not using, without first totally uninstalling the entire MSTS and then reinstalling, using the "customize" set-up choice? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-09-02, 05:19 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Uninstalling Routes" After a complete MSTS install including all standard routes it's a wise decision to make a registry backup. If possible use a registry tracker, much better is a tool who tracks copied files too. In this case you have a good chance to get rid of your not so favoured routes. On deleting a route folder only you'll have a 90% chance that you'll encounter troubles after installing a new route especial if it is one of the standard routes. It is not only the route folder, ther are the consists, this and that in what ever else folder. Mostly all more or less professional route and/or activity designer assume that you have a standard (means full) MSTS install. Ok, if you'r running it on a 8gig harddisk then my points doesn't count. But take care! If you're on bad luck you'll may win the big price: Reinstall Windows....
Have luck and bye Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
