Feb-05-02, 06:42 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Route Question" LAST EDITED ON Feb-05-02 AT 07:16 PM (EST)I can run trains on Horseshoe Curve whenever I want...or on the Moffat route or the RF&P...I have TrainMaster4.
Check it out at http://www.softrail.com/trainmaster40.htmlThis is an excellent sim from the loco and train physics standpoint, though without external views and loco models or editors to create new routes. If you're interested, check it out soon...unfortunately, MSTS has apparently put this long-standing small American company just about out of business. Even with limitations, the scenery on several of the 5 included routes is very nice. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-05-02, 08:10 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Route Question" 1. MS is an American company.2. After looking here and in the TRAINZ board it is obvious that you like to stir things up. If you do not have something constructive to say - say nothing! Kevin Arceneaux Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I've had Trainmaster 3&4 for a long time enjoyed them both.
MSTS was the next inevitable step and have enjoyed it. Tried Trainz and found it to be not as pleasing as MSTS and shelved it!
As an aside...Trainmaster is part of a company that provides electronic scanners for the railroad industry. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Yea, "The Middle" is what I was talking about. I'm an engineer & work out of Conway, Pa & also get to run over Horse Shoe Curve all that I want. The reason I posted is that I'm thinking of purchasing this Simulator, and hoped it had territory I run over. Thanks for reply!

Affraid NO Middle Div. available, but it sure as hell is a wonderful dream and you never know...some developer may just do it. One of the great joys of being a car inspector was my many trips into the Holidaysburg car shop. In the late afternoon I would buy a bag lunch and head for the "Curve" to watch trains!
Lots of wonderful memories!
Take Care and Best Regards, Don Shepley Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
