Feb-03-02, 05:37 PM (EST) "Missing Albula Line file." I have packed the Albula Line route into Route Control. It loads back into Train Sim o.k but when I select the route to use it I recieve this error message.`No extended shape data for Swe Gantry1.s`I click yes then get the `failed to open shape file.....`
and `shape failed to load ....` errors. The route worked fine before it was packed. All my other routes have no problems with Route Control. Also, and I hope this is not a silly question. Can the six default routes be packed into Route Control and their folders deleted, or do they need to remain fully installed so their textures and objects are available to other routes?Keith. Feb-03-02, 09:48 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Missing Albula Line file." No sweat, I found the solution over at How In The World`s Route Control forum.
Would still like to know about the default routes though.Keith. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-04-02, 03:10 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Missing Albula Line file." If you packed them then Route Control would not work. All 6 routes need to be in place. For that very reason if you try to pack them an error message will come up. Go and try it.Incidentally - I think this is in the RC forum as well. Always best to ask RC questions there as Jak cannot keep his eye on the 101+ MSTS forums there are.Bill

Feb-04-02, 05:52 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Missing Albula Line file." Thanks Bill,
I thought that may have been the case but I wanted to be certain before doing anything stupid. Yes you are correct about the R C forum being the best place for R C problems but I figured it could have been just a dropped file and someone may have been able to tell me where to copy it from and paste it to.Thanks again,Keith. Feb-04-02, 01:07 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Missing Albula Line file." Hi,Swe Gantry1.s should be a Swedish Gantry. Should be packaged with the route. I had no problems with this route, Installer worked fine.Swedish gantries can be found at:

Feb-04-02, 06:32 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Missing Albula Line file." Hi Dick,When I first downloaded Albula and did a normal install the route worked fine so the gantry file must have been there. The problem only arose after packing the route into Route Control then reloading it back into the sim. Perhaps R C just dropped the file or failed to recognise it.I found someone else with the same problem at the `How In The World` Route Control forum and there was a link to a site where this file (along with others) could be downloaded. I also got some German signals. How In The World provided the link along with the suggestion to download these files as they may be needed for other routes.Everything`s working fine now and I consider Route Control to be the best add on I have purchased for Train Sim.Keith.
