Feb-01-02, 02:18 PM (EST) "Let's all give Marv a big hand here... *applause*" Folks! Marv Keru has developed ten new activities for the East Metro RR. Here they are... in BETA. And you all know what that means right? *whispers* here's Marv's email address: *fumbles around* oh wait... it was here a minute ago... *out loud* well, look in the Activity Pack Readme.txt file found in the EMRR after installation. Installation is done via the installer and worked fine for me. Nothing in the way of your defaults is overwritten. The installation adds another John Chambers repaint. These are, if I'm not mistaken, Swedish passenger cars repainted to EMRR colors. They look pretty cool and Marv makes use of them in one activity. Any problems with the activities, *pointing to Marv* emails to him. Installation problems, email to me. Love John's repaint? Email goes to him *pointing at John* which if you don't have, you may have to email him to get it... ????? ... Any questions? Yes, you in the back! Where do you get the file and how big is it? Well, it's at my site:www.edmfamily.com/msts/index.htmfile size: approx. 1 megNext question! Has anybody actually seen the passenger cars? Well sure! They are parked right out here.... *looking horrified as passengers are towed off by some very dirty engine with the letters P.... O...* It's that rugby fella again!!sssSSSSSNNIIIPPPEERRRRRRRRR!!!! I just wanted to say "thanks" for the great EMRR route and all the add-ons. It is without a doubt the most fun route available, and has inspired me to create some fun things for Route Builders as well.BTW your tutorial from Abacus is wonderful, and I encourage everybody to go buy it.

Yep, Marv's Activity Pack is a sure winner! Downloaded and installed it 20 minutes ago without a hitch. In fact, I've already completed the first activity but I'll still need a little more practice to do it the way I want.

Thanks Marv for sharing your creations with us all of us, and of course, that includes Rich without whom there would be no EMRR to run them on. It's the only route I've used in recent weeks and now with the additional ten activities, it will keep me out of trouble for a long time to come. Something tells me I'm going to get hooked on BoDiddey much the same way. Woe is me! I vote to extend the 24 hour day to 32 or just plain give up sleep - that might work.My sincerest thanks to you both who I know have put in many a 32 hour day to accomplish what you have.LancePS - I have Rich's Activity Tutorial which has to be the best investment I've made in this hobby other than MSTS itself.
